Akari and Nxled light up Worldbex 2018

Living up to expectations as Asia’s biggest and most attended construction exposition, Worldbex 2018 opened its doors from March 14 to 18 in three simultaneous venues.

For their part, Akari, the country’s top lighting and electrical brand, together with Nxled, the leader in next generation lighting, showcased quality and innovative products in two booths at the World Trade Center.

Fun and playful lighting options were on full display for the first time at Worldbex 2018 as the kids-safe Akari Junior complete product line was unveiled. From animal-inspired mosquito zappers to character study lamps to themed chandeliers, the Akari Junior series is the perfect complement to any kid’s room.

Aside from serving as an avenue to exhibit the latest Akari products, consumers have come to look forward to Akari best-sellers on huge sale during the annual event. Worldbex guests shopped for Akari products at up to 75% off, apart from Buy 1, Take 1 and other bundle deals.

Meanwhile, Nxled, the brand that is first to bring the latest innovations in the lighting industry, boasted of its line of emergency bulbs, ranging from heavy-duty (with up to 5 hours operating time), the Quick-E Series and the solar-powered emergency bulbs; security lights with microwave sensor, dimmable handwave sensor striplight, smart bedlight sensor; Bluetooth music series bulbs, touch lamp, ceiling and circular lamps; and the new Chandelier Rustic, Modern and Classic Series.

Backed by 50 years of experience in providing world-class and energy-efficient lighting, electrical and energy products to homes and commercial establishments, Akari and Nxled have been prime supporters of Worldbex for many years.

Akari and Nxled at PhilConstruct 2016

Sister brands Akari and Nxled joined hands in welcoming clients, architects, contractors and construction industry professionals at their booth in PhilConstruct 2016 held recently at the SMX Convention Center.

Akari, an industry pioneer with over 40 years of experience in providing high-quality, world-class and energy-efficient lighting and electrical products showcased its complete line of wiring devices. Trusted by leading contractors for their projects for many years, the Classic and Neo Wide Series feature a wide range of electrical sockets and modular functionality, allowing the user to mix-and-match the switches and sockets.

Meanwhile, the V Series comes in elegant color choices of Champagne Gold, Matte Black and Silver. It features built-in safety shutters to prevent accidental access to the live electrical parts inside.

The latest to be introduced to the Philippine market, the Italian Series is the elite line of Akari wiring devices with three new finishes and cover plates. Inspired by the style and sophistication of Italian switches and sockets, its Aluminum, Silver and Glass finish are sure to enhance the elegance of your home. Akari Wiring Devices offer 10-year warranty and are IEC-compliant.

Nxled, on the other hand, showed off its latest innovation. An alternative answer to power failures, the new Nxled 6 Watts Emergency Bulb works like a normal bulb but better: it can be attached to a regular socket in any part of the house and charges while it’s being used. When a power failure occurs, it will automatically light up, thus switching into emergency lighting! Powered by a 3.7V 3000mAh lithium battery, it can remain lit for up to 6 hours. It also has the option to be used as a carry-around bulb. It comes with a portable mother socket so you can simply carry it indoors or outdoors.

Nxled Chameleon Series was also featured during the 4-day exhibition. The first of its kind in the local market, this adaptive LED line is designed to suit the different lighting needs of today’s practical and energy conscious consumers. The Nxled Chameleon series offers innovations that revolutionize the concept of lighting—and living—with its ‘dimmable without dimmer’ and color-changing technologies. The Nxled Chameleon series is available in a wide selection of high quality LED products—from bulbs and down lights; to ceiling and circular lamps; to LED tubes.

Akari in Manila International Auto Show 2013

Akari, together with sister brand NxLed, debuts in the car industry with this year’s Manila International Auto Show. The event was held in World Trade Center last April 4 to April 7, 2013. Brand new cars, concept cars and hybrid cars from the country’s top automotive brands were exhibited in the show.

Akari and NxLed aims to widen its reach to educate about and promote LED lighting. The LED strip lights and LED flood lights are great suggestions for car customization. Strip lights can be used in place of neon lights, while flood lights can be used in place of halogen fog lights. Even car enthusiasts and drivers can certainly do their part in saving energy, right?
